Museum Of Copying By F.A.T. For Venice Biennale

The UK-based firm F.A.T. (Free Art & Technology) created the “Museum of Copying” for the 13th international architecture exhibition at the Venice Biennale. The Museum explores the concept of “imitation”. FAT recreated the most replicated building – the villa rotunda by Palladio. The large-scale sliced villa¬† installation is formed from a single cast which was then turned inside out. When walking through the structure, the visitors can see the facades of the columns, rotunda and windows close up.
