Caitlind Brown: Lightbulb Cloud
Tweet

Calgary-based artist and filmmaker Caitlind Browncreated a large-scale light installation/sculpture titled Cloud for the Nuit Blanche in Calgary. Using more than 5,000 reappropriated domestic light bulbs, compact fluorescent bulbs and chain pull strings, the sculpture really only needed every sixth light bulb to glow for the full effect. Visitors can stand under Cloud’s chain pull string “rain”, and switch the lights on and off.
